About the squad

The City of Hereford Swimming Club's Potential 1 squad  is the club's pre-competition squad. It aims to continue to build and re-enforce basic skills and introduce some of the more complex skills. In this squad the swimmers work through a progressive structured mini-training programme and their attendance and training distances are closely monitored allowing feed back to both swimmers and parents about targets they should aim for. To assist withthis from January 2010 all swimmers in this squad are expected to complete a monthly log sheet (this is designed to be very easy to complete - there is a guide for swimmers you can refer to explaining more about this). The sessions are predominantly water based although some "wet/dry" sets are included within the squad. Swimmers within the squad are expected to meet a range of criteria which will assist in achieving these aims and ensure that training sessions can be progressive and well managed. Swimmers are also expected to come properly equiped for each training session.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
