About the squad

The City of Hereford Swimming Club's Potential 2 squad  is about beginning to develop future competitive swimmers. It aims to continue to build good stroke technique as well as enforcing good training discipline. It also aims to further enhance turns and starts skills with a greater emphasis that these are carried out on every turn during training. The squad's programme is based on Potential 1's  structured mini-training programme. However, there is a focus on developing basic skills that the swimmers should retain throughout the squads above them. The sessions are predominantly water based although an occassional "wet/dry" set may be included within the programme. Swimmers within the squad are expected to meet a range of criteria which will assist in achieving these aims and ensure that training sessions can be progressive and well managed. Swimmers are also expected to come properly equiped for each training session.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
