About the squad

The City of Hereford Swimming Club's Fish 2 squad  is all about learning the basic technical skills associated with each stroke. The emphasis is on introducing competitive stroke. It is expected that swimmers are capable of swimming one length of the pool (25m), and are able to repeat this after a short rest. The squad's programme is dictated by the needs of the swimmers - and sessions are adapted to address issues that are observed by the coaches during each set.  The sessions are all water based and primarily aimed at building skills in FC, BK and BR as well as dolphin kick action and diving. Fly is introduced - but not expected to be swum proficiently. Swimmers within the squad are expected to meet a number of criteria which will assist in achieving these aims and ensure that training sessions can be delivered effectively. Swimmers are also expected to come properly equiped for each training session.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
